The famous British artist Banksy admitted in his Instagram account that he is the author of 7 graffiti in Ukraine. The street artist created art in Kyiv, Borodyanka and Irpen, probably during an anonymous visit to Ukrainian cities that were badly affected by Russian aggression.

Graffiti owned by Banksy:

As reported by The Art Newspaper, the scandalous artist created seven murals in Ukraine.

In particular, Banksy confirmed that he painted two murals in Kyiv - children who ride on an anti-tank hedgehog, like on a swing, and a russian Z-armored vehicle, which allegedly carries a male genital organ. By the way, he was already on the concrete before the arrival of the artist, but the British decided to beat the art by humiliating the occupying country.

In addition, three graffiti belonging to a British artist appeared in Borodyanka. In a city destroyed by russian troops, Banksy depicted a boy throwing a karate fighter to the floor. It is likely that in this way the artist hinted at putin. On another of the affected houses, you can see a young gymnast next to a shell hole.

The last art in Borodyanka shows a young gymnast standing on a stone on her hands. Banksy himself talked about this art on his Instagram page.

In Gostomel, Banksy depicted on the wall a woman in a dressing gown holding a fire extinguisher with a gas mask on her head. In Gorenka, the British created an image of a bearded man taking a bath.

The price of Banksy murals

According to experts, the initial amount starts from 1 million dollars. If the works are sold at a large auction abroad to raise money for charity, the cost may reach $10 million.

Banksy's position on the war in Ukraine

The artist always raised acute socio-political topics in his works.

It is known that the British supported Ukraine from the first months of the war. In March, the "MyArtBroker" platform put his painting "CND Soldiers" on a charity auction with the hashtag #ABANKSY4UKRAINE.

The amount received from the sale, almost 107 thousand dollars, was transferred to the needs of the "Ohmatdyt" children's hospital.

What is known about the anonymous artist?

Controversy rages around the identity of the artist. The real name of the artist is still unknown.

It is known that Banksy is the pseudonym of an English underground artist who entered the public arena in the 1990s. In addition, he is also known as a political activist and director.

The artist's first work appeared on the streets of British Bristol in the late 90s.
