From now on, Ukrainians will be able to receive fast and affordable money transfers from Canada through the PrivatMoney system. According to the Minifin, this became possible thanks to the partnership between PrivatBank and Canadian fintech company RemitBee.


"To ensure that the large diaspora and Ukrainians living abroad can always conveniently and quickly support their relatives and friends in Ukraine, we are expanding the geography of partners of the PrivatMoney affordable money transfer system and entering the Canadian market," said Dmytro Musienko, PrivatBank's Board Member for Retail Business.

How to transfer money from Canada through PrivatMoney?


According to Musienko, by the end of March 2024, the first transfer of up to CAD 250 from Canada to Ukraine via the new PrivatMoney partner will be free of charge. The minimum transfer amount is only $10.


You can transfer funds from Canada to Ukraine via the website or mobile application. You can receive a RemitBee transfer via PrivatMoney:

- automatically to a bank card (provided that the sender has provided the recipient's card details);

– via the Privat24 website or mobile application (with a control number);

– at self-service terminals (SSTs);

– in ATMs;

– through a bank branch;

– through the customer support service at 3700 or online help in Privat24 chat.
