Table of Contents
Lviv has created an Accessible City map with more than 100 locations that meet all inclusivity standards. Find out how to find the map and how to use it, as well as which institutions are represented in the categories
In order to make it easier for guests and residents of Lviv to find their way around, the Lviv Tourist Office has created the Accessible City map. According to the Lviv City Council's website, the map already shows more than 100 barrier-free establishments and places in Lviv, which are categorized for the convenience of users.
It is noted that the main goal of the project is the comfortable inclusion of people with disabilities in society and the reintegration of veterans.
"We continue training for representatives of the hospitality industry. We are re-equipping public facilities. We analyze them. We correct them. We are working. We are learning. The path is long and difficult. We need to rethink everything and understand that barrier-free access is not about someone and not for someone! It is about everyone and each of us! Every day! I am grateful to every hotel and restaurant that has already changed. To everyone who is already developing a plan for reorganization. To everyone who hears and responds," summarized Khrystyna Lebed, Head of the Tourism Department of Lviv City Council.
