The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution according to which it is possible to obtain IDP status without a passport.

From July 15, resettled people will receive social benefits even if they have lost their identity documents. The government's goal was to help people who left their hometowns due to Russian aggression to receive financial assistance as soon as possible.

To receive a payment without a passport:

1. Use documents from the Diia application, for example, eDocument;

2. Get a certificate of application for the issuance of a passport to the State Migration Service.

You can get a certificate of application for the restoration of a passport at territorial bodies of the State Migration Service or centers for the provision of administrative services.

Note that the certificate of submission of documents for the issuance of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine does not replace an identity document. Currently, this is an alternative for registering the status of an internally displaced person and submitting documents for receiving social benefits.

The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine emphasized that the simplification of the procedure will allow displaced people to receive payments immediately, instead of waiting for more than a month.
