The world's largest travel platform, Tripadvisor, will display the HotelStarsUnion's official verified hotel star rating data. This function will apply to hotels in 18 countries that are members of the association.
From June 2022, Tripadvisor checks hotel classification data on a daily basis to always guarantee guests an accurate star rating. Travelers who plan their trip with the help of Tripadvisor can be sure that the number of stars of the hotel was assigned only after it was carefully checked according to a number of criteria.
"This is a big step towards enabling travelers to make informed decisions regarding the choice of accommodation," said Markus Lütte, president of the Hotelstars association.
