Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine left many people in different parts of Ukraine homeless. The government and international organizations support them in every possible way, creating various initiatives to provide Ukrainians with housing.
Thus, in the Kyiv region, the first families who will receive private houses and apartments within the framework of two programs launched by local authorities are already known.
As part of the "Nova oselya" program, 51 families from 10 territorial communities will receive new housing. Among them - 18 apartments for families with many children, 33 - for families with children and pregnant women. The apartments are located in the cities of Brovary, Boguslav, Boryspil, Irpin, Bila Tserkva and the village of Makariv.
In particular, 103 buildings will be erected within the framework of the program of reconstruction of private houses. The cost of construction works will depend on the results of examinations.
Local authorities of the Kyiv region have approved two programs that will provide housing for civilians who lost their homes as a result of hostilities. It is planned to build 560 buildings within the framework of the program of reconstruction of private houses. The first of them is already being built in the village of Dmytrivka near Bucha. According to the "Nova oselya" program, the government will buy 2,000 apartments from developers.
It will be recalled that the commission included representatives of structural subdivisions of OVA and territorial communities of Kyiv region, as well as deputies of the regional council. It is important that it is the representatives of territorial communities who determine the sequence and priority in family registers in the section of their communities.
As you know, during the war, more than 5,000 houses were no longer fit for habitation. They will be demolished. As a result of hostilities, 1,534 high-rise buildings were damaged. 119 of them have been restored. 161 houses cannot be repaired, and about 300 are being repaired.
