During martial law, men of conscription age (18-60 years) cannot travel abroad. However, there are exceptions in the legislation.
In particular, according to the fifth paragraph of Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mobilization Training and Mobilization", men who independently raise at least one child under the age of 18 can cross the Ukrainian border.
What documents are required?
To easily pass control at the checkpoint, you should have one of the following documents:
1) Child's birth certificate;
2) Death certificate of the child's mother.
If the child's mother is alive, the father must provide a document that confirms the fact that the mother has been deprived of parental rights or a court decision to take the child away from the mother without depriving her of parental rights.
If the mother is declared dead or missing, the father is considered single and must submit a corresponding court decision.
Pay attention! If a man remarries, in this case he is no longer considered a person who independently raises a child under the age of 18.
