With the onset of cold weather, the risk of catching the flu or ARVI increases. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has published information on influenza vaccination in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Bulgaria.
General recommendations
Vaccination against influenza in European countries is recommended, but not mandatory. Adults and children older than 6 months can receive the vaccine. It should be noted that vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 is allowed at the same time - vaccinations will be given in different hands.
Poland
In Poland, people over 75 years old and pregnant women can get vaccinated for free. The rest have to pay for the vaccine.
What to do before vaccination:
• Make an appointment with your family doctor and get a vaccine prescription;
• Buy a vaccine at a pharmacy;
• Contact a medical institution or a pharmacist at a pharmacy - a specialist will give you a vaccination.
Czech Republic
People with chronic diseases who have social insurance and those over 65 can get a free flu shot.

Germany, Italy, Bulgaria
Having a social insurance policy allows you to get free vaccinations for pregnant women, people with chronic diseases and people over 60 years old.
The remaining Ukrainians should follow the following steps:
• Consult with a family practice doctor;
• Get vaccinations and a check for the cost of the vaccine.
