"Ukrzaliznytsia" continues to actively develop international connections with Europe. Thanks to this, getting to Ukraine or leaving it becomes even easier and more convenient. We have collected all current options for traveling by rail from Ukraine to 6 European countries and back.

Poland

• Odesa - Peremyshl (036 Sh/L), this train leaves Odessa at 14:58 and goes via Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Lviv. It arrives at its destination at 6:30 a.m. the next day.

The return train departs at 20:28 and arrives in Odesa at 13:58 the next day. Tickets for this train can be purchased both at ticket offices at train stations and online on the website of Ukrzaliznytsia.

• Kyiv – Warsaw, two trains run in this direction at once: 907К/ 908О and 067К/068Л.

The first leaves Kyiv at 5:27 p.m., goes through Chelm and Lublin in Poland, and arrives in Warsaw at 10:09 a.m. Return departure from Warsaw at 17:49, arrival in Kyiv at 13:12.

The second runs the same route, but departs from Kyiv at 7:26 p.m., arriving in Warsaw at 10:12 a.m. Departure back at 17:45, and arrival in Kyiv at 12:07.

Tickets for these trains can be purchased both at the ticket offices at the stations and online on the website of Ukrzaliznytsia. To find the trains you need, you need to select the "Warsaw Vskhodnia" item.

• Kyiv – Przemyśl, there are four different flights from the capital to Przemyśl: 053/054, 705/706, 715/716 and 89/90. There are departures from Kyiv both at 11:01 a.m. and in the evening: at 7:46 p.m., 8:14 p.m. or 10:52 p.m. You can leave Przemyśl for Kyiv at 9:45 a.m., 2:15 p.m., 8:28 p.m. or 11:30 p.m. You will spend 10 to 15 hours on the road, depending on the train.

Flight 053/054 goes through Lviv, the other three - through Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil.

• Zaporizhzhia – Przemyśl (032P/D), this is a convenient option to reach Poland from the Eastern part of Ukraine. The train departs from Zaporizhia-1 station at 20:15 and goes via Dnipro, Taras Shevchenko station, Bila Tserkva, Lviv and arrives in Przemyśl at 15:18 the next day. Return departure at 18:10, arrival at 16:02.

Recently, "UZ" also assigned trains No. 89/73 — 74/90 Kharkiv, Kyiv — Przemysl and No. 67/19 — 20/68 Kyiv — Warsaw, Chelm.

• Train №73/74 Kharkiv — Przemyśl will depart from Kharkiv starting February 19 on odd dates at 14:07. The train will arrive in Kyiv at 21:04, and in Przemyśl at 11:13. In the return direction, from Przemyśl, the train will depart on even numbers from February 20 at 1:45 p.m., and will arrive in Kharkiv at 10:01 a.m.

This train will give the residents of Kharkiv a daily connection with Poland, as train №93/94 Kharkiv — Chelm, which was appointed a few months ago, runs from Kharkiv on even numbers.

• Train №67/19 — 20/68 Kyiv — Warsaw, Chelm will depart Kyiv every day from February 19 at 6:14 p.m., will arrive in Chelm at 4:55 a.m., train №67/68 will arrive in Warsaw at 10:12 a.m. In the return direction, from Warsaw, train №67/68 will depart at 5:45 p.m.; from Khelm, train №19/20 will depart at 11:45 p.m. and arrive in Kyiv at 1:07 p.m.

Pay attention! Passengers of train №19/20, having arrived in Chelm, can conveniently transfer to the Polish train IS67, which will arrive in Warsaw at 10:12. Likewise in the reverse direction: Polish train IS68 will depart from Warsaw at 5:45 p.m. and arrive in Chelm at 9:10 p.m.

Hungary and Austria

• Train 749 connecting Kyiv – Budapest – Vienna goes through Stryi, Volovets, Mukachevo, Zahon, Demecher, Debrecen, Pustekladany, Kishuisallash, Solnok, Budapest-Kehlenfeld, Gyor, Hedyeshhalom stations. Daily departure from the Ukrainian capital at 12:57, arrival in Budapest at 8:20, and in Vienna at 11:21.

You cannot buy tickets for this train online, you need to contact the ticket offices.

Czech Republic

• Currently, the Czech Republic can be reached with a transfer on the Kyiv - Prague route, with a transfer in Przemyśl.

Train number 715 starts its journey at 8:30 a.m. in the capital, then goes to Przemyśl (arrival at approximately 7:53 p.m.). From there, at 20:48, the RJ 1000 train goes to the Czech Republic. The final destination is Prague the next morning at 8:55.

Slovakia

• From December 11, the international connection Mukachevo - Chop - Košice is returning, there are two trains 960/961 and 962/963 on this route. The first departs from Mukachevo at 2:48 p.m., arriving at the final destination at 6:17 p.m., the second departs at 6:16 p.m. and arrives at 9:33 p.m.

• Chop - Chierna-nad -Tisou 8861/8860 departing from Chop at 11:35, arriving at 11:46 the next day.

Moldova

• Kyiv - Chisinau (351/352), the train leaves Kyiv at 17:02, goes via Vinnytsia and arrives in Chisinau at 10:38. In the return direction, departure at 17:45, arrival at 11:48.

Romania

From January 18, the movement of passenger trains on the section "Rakhiv - Dilove - Valia-Vicheului" will be resumed, which will be the first railway route that will connect Ukraine and Romania.

The timetable of the Rakhiv – Dilove – Valya-Višeului train:

• Rakhiv - 06:10, Valya-Visheului approx. – 07:45

• Rakhiv - 14:10, Valya-Visheului approx. - 15:45

• Valya-Visheului – 11:45, Rakhiv approx. – 12:20 p.m

• Valya-Visheului – 6:15 p.m., Rakhiv approx. - 18:50

The price of a ticket in a 2nd class carriage will be 129 hryvnias, 1st class – 247 hryvnias.

Also, from January 18, 2023, train No. 810 "Lviv - Rakhiv" will be assigned, which will provide a convenient connection with the train "Rakhiv - Dilove - Valya-Vysheului".
