How to get help for a newborn child abroad?
Currently, in order to receive childbirth assistance, parents must personally apply to social security authorities. However, it is difficult to do this while staying in another country, so the government has passed a bill that allows adults to receive money under a simplified system.
To do this, you need to send to the social security authorities:
• an application for assistance;
• the child's documents issued in another country.
After that, parents will be able to receive assistance in the country where they have obtained temporary protection. The addresses of the Departments of Social Protection by region can be found here.
