Diia has launched the eRecovery service, which allows Ukrainians to receive funds to repair their homes damaged by the war. Find out more about how to apply for a eRecovery card and get cashback
From now on, you can receive compensation for damaged housing through Diia under the eRecovery program. Ukrainians whose homes have been damaged due to hostilities can apply in the app and receive funds for repairs.
How can I get compensation for damaged housing as a result of hostilities?
The maximum amount you can claim is UAH 200,000. These funds can be spent on construction materials or services of contractors participating in the program.
Please note! eRecovery service is available if the housing is subject to restoration and has not been fully repaired.
Receiving financial assistance under the eRecovery program: what you need to do
In order to receive funds for repairs, you must:
- report the damaged property in the Diia app;
- open a specialized eRecovery account in one of the banks participating in the program;
- fill out an application for assistance in the Diia app, check it and send it for processing.
Please note! From now on, those who do not have Diia or a smartphone will be able to apply for funds for repairs. To do this, you need to contact the Administrative Services Center or the social security authority in your community. They will help you fill out the application.

Important! If the home has co-owners, they must agree to participate in the program.
After that, the local authorities will send a commission to inspect the damaged property, record the damage, and determine the amount of compensation.
The funds will be transferred to the eRecovery card. They must be used within 12 months from the date of receipt.
In addition, program participants have the opportunity to receive bonuses. In particular, PrivatBank and MonoBank have started issuing eRecovery cards for crediting the aid.

How can I get cashback for issuing eRecovery cards?
MonoBank
According to MonoBank founder Oleg Gorokhovsky in his Telegram, the bank has added a 5% cashback on all expenses with the eVostok card.
The service is activated automatically during the first expense.
In addition, on August 1, MonoBank will select one of the clients who opened the eRecovery card and received a payment from the state and will give him a two-bedroom apartment in the Ukrainian city chosen by the winning client.
In order to receive a payment of up to UAH 200 thousand and a chance to win an apartment, you need to be the owner or co-owner of the damaged property, open a Monobank eRecovery card and apply for a payment in Diia.
How do I open the eRecovery card through MonoBank?
In the top menu, where the cards are selected, click "Open card", then select the eVostok card.
You can also open the card from a message in your statement.
PrivatBank
Ukrainians whose housing was damaged as a result of the war and whose data on the damaged property was transferred to the state register through the Diia app can open a eVostok card at PrivatBank to receive compensation and 15% cashback.
How do I open an eRecovery card through PrivatBank?
To apply for a card in Privat24, you need to update the application, go to the "Wallet" tab, click the "Add" menu and select the eRecovery card.
After opening the card, you will only need to apply for a payment in the Diia app and select the PrivatBank eRecovery card.
