Now Ukrainians leaving the war zone, as well as cities under occupation or encirclement, will be able to receive financial assistance from the state directly during the evacuation. For this purpose, Ukrzaliznytsia transmits data on its evacuation flights to colleagues from Ukrposhta, for whom cash points have already been set up at the railway station in Lviv. The list of stations will soon expand.
This is a joint project of the Office of the President, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ukrzaliznytsia and Ukrposhta, designed to convey to all those who have not yet dared to evacuate from Donbas that they are really waited for. This program complements the program "Where you are waited for", which was launched earlier with the support of the Office of the President, which allows you to pick up and order temporary resettlement options right on the train.
Let us remind that the state provides one-time assistance in the amount of 3,000 hryvnias for each child or person with disabilities and 2,000 hryvnias for each person over the age of 18 to people evacuated from combat zones.
Information on the payment of cash benefits is formed by railway employees directly during the movement of evacuation trains, where the number of children and adults must be indicated. These data are passed on to Ukrposhta employees, who, before the evacuation train arrival at the destination city station, organize everything necessary so that people can receive funds immediately after leaving the train.
Passengers of five evacuation trains to Lviv have already received payments totaling UAH 340,000.
