The Indonesian resort island of Bali will open to fully vaccinated foreign tourists from February 4, 2022.
Until now, only domestic flights could fly to Bali. That is, Denpasar Airport (DPS) was closed to international flights, except for private aviation. Therefore, the arrivals had to undergo quarantine in Jakarta. Now, fully vaccinated tourists (Indonesia recognizes vaccines: Moderna, Oxford / AstraZeneca, Pfizer / BioNTech, Sinopharm / Beijing, Sinovac / CoronaVac) will be able to undergo a 5-day quarantine immediately in Bali, which will significantly relieve covid hotels.
The list of covid hotels in Bali today is 60 pieces.
According to the IATA resource, passengers arriving in Denpasar Bali (DPS) as tourists must carry:
- a valid international certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19, completed at least 14 days before entry – only paper certificates from a doctor with a wet seal are accepted; and
- confirmed booking of accommodation; and
- a tourist e-visa with a visa number ending in LN; and
- health insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000 for the treatment of COVID-19.
The fabulous island, known for its surfing, temples, waterfalls and vibrant nightlife, has already been tagged as one of the most popular tourist destinations in 2022, along with Dubai (UAE), London (UK), Cancun (Mexico) and Crete (Greece).
Singapore Airlines and Batik Air have already announced the launch of direct flights to Bali. They are planned to start from February 16, so it will be possible to fly to the island from many countries with a transfer in Singapore.
